DANCE FLOOR POLICY
Why this exists?
ODAAT isn’t just about music. It’s about the people the music brings together. We build spaces where connection, energy, and joy come first — and that only happens when everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected.
These gatherings are co-created. Every single person shapes the energy of the night — and that comes with responsibility.
What we believe in?
The dance floor is a shared space. It belongs to all of us.
Music is meant to move you — but never at someone else’s expense.
Everyone should feel comfortable showing up as they are.
Boundaries matter.
Respect is not optional.
What we ask you
Ask before you touch. Consent is essential — always.
Be mindful of space. Whether you're dancing, recording, or moving through the crowd, keep awareness of who’s around you.
Don’t film people without their permission. Some people are here to disconnect. Respect that.
No discrimination. We don’t tolerate racism, sexism, ableism, or harassment of any kind.
Pay attention to how people respond to you. If someone seems uncomfortable, adjust your energy.
Check in with friends — and strangers. Community care means looking out for each other.
What you can expect from us
Our crew is present at every event and trained to support.
If you’re uncomfortable or unsure — find a team member. We’re here to help.
If someone is being harmful or violating the energy of the space, we’ll intervene.
We’re always learning — if there’s something we’ve missed or can do better, tell us.
If you need support
Talk to any ODAAT team member.
We’re here to listen, no questions asked.
